I hope someday you will be able to appreciate the following:

"Oh! it is hard to take to heart the lesson that such deaths teach, but let no man reject it, for it is one that all must learn, and it is a mighty universal Truth. When Death strikes down the innocent and young, for every fragile form from which he lets the panting spirit free, a hunfred virtues rise, in shapes of mercy, charity, and love, to walk the world, and bless it. Of every tear that sorrowing mortals shed on such green graves, some good is born, some gentler nature comes. In the Destroyer's steps there springs up bright creations that defy his power, and his dark path becomes a way of light to Heaven."

My brother David and I have been friends with Brennan since we were young. It broke my heart to hear the news. Brennan was a great guy, there was nobody else as kind as he was. I know there is nothing that anyone can say to take away the pain and heartache you feel, but remember there are all of us friends and family here to help you. Whether it be for an ear to listen or a shoulder to cry on. Brennan will always be in my thoughts and prayers, along with all of you. He will surely be missed by all.

Dear Testa Family,

We were all sorry to hear about Brennen's accident. We first met Brennen at the Police Athletic Gym, where my sons and Brennen would work out every weekend. He was a great person, a hard worker, and will be dearly missed. My wife and I just spoke to Brennen and Jen at Wal-mart not too long ago. Please accept our deepest sympathy on your loss.

I grew up with Brennan, he was my first best friend from kindergarten. I have so many happy childhood memories of Brennan that will never be forgotten. Brennan was a good guy, the kind guy that would give you the shirt off his back. He will definitely be missed.

I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to Jenn, Pat, Daniel, Derrick and the rest of Brennan's family and friends. I would like to share this poem with all of you that my girlfriend, Dana, and I found on this site...

If I knew...

If I knew it would be the last time That I'd see you fall asleep, I would tuck you in more tightly and pray the Lord, your soul to keep.

If I knew it would be the last time that I see you walk out the door, I would give you a hug and kiss and call you back for one more.

If I knew it would be the last time I'd hear your voice lifted up in praise, I would video tape each action and word, so I could play them back day after day.

If I knew it would be the last time, I could spare an extra minute to stop and say "I love you," instead of assuming you would KNOW I do.

If I knew it would be the last time I would be there to share your day, Well I'm sure you'll have so many more, so I can let just this one slip away.

For surely there's always tomorrow to make up for an oversight, and we always get a second chance to make everything just right.

There will always be another day to say "I love you," and certainly there's another chance to say "Anything I can do?"

But just in case I might be wrong, and today is all I get, I'd like to say how much I love you and I hope we never forget.

Tomorrow is not promised to anyone, young or old alike, and today may be the last chance you get to hold your loved one tight.

So if you're waiting for tomorrow, why not do it today? For if tomorrow never comes, you'll surely regret the day,

That you didn't take that extra time for a smile, a hug, or a kiss and you were too busy to grant someone, what turned out to be their one last wish.

So hold your loved ones close today, and whisper in their ear, Tell them how much you love them and you'll always hold them dear.

Take time to say "I'm

sorry," "Please forgive me," "Thank you," or "It's okay."

And if tomorrow never comes, you'll have no regrets about today.

God Bless You All and May He bring you inner peace and comfort through your times of sorrow.

I'll miss you Brennan.

Love,

Dave

Dear Pat & Dan,

There are no words I can offer that can ease the pain and sorrow of losing your son, Brennan. Like my Chris and Kelly, God has taken your Brennan to a better place and for a better purpose. As time passes, you will realize Brennan will live forever in your thoughts and in your heart and you will feel the warmth of his love each and every day to come. It will be on your darkest days, that very, very special ray of sunshine.

All of you are in my thoughts, my heart and in my prayers.

God Bless You,
