Althugh I almost never knew you,
I feel like I really did.
Aunty Nikki has been talking about you,
Since you were a little kid.
Over the years and as time went by
I grew to know you through your Aunty's eyes.
When talking about you she'd say "Ah that Brent,
and I wasn't always sure what she meant.
I remember you best when you walked down the aisle,
Everyone in the church had no choice but to smile.
You had an important job to do and you were ready,
to be the ringbearer at Uncle Doug and Aunty Nikki's wedding.
There was always a twinkle in her eyes and a smile on her face,
When talking about you, she couldn't erase.
Today I learned so much more,
and it really touched me deeply right to the core.
You had become a remarkable man,
the friendship love and compassion that you showed others...
is it any wonder they all wanted to be your brothers.
You're not here right now,
you've gone to another place,
the legacy you leave behind,
will forever leave a smile on everyone's face.
Your Mom and Dad and family will miss you for sure,

to your heart so pure,
