Brenton Oldham Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Oct. 14, 2013.
Dr. Brenton C. Oldham, 53, of Little Rock, crossed over to be with the Lord on October 14th, 2013. He was born in Stillwater, Oklahoma to Dr. Bill and Monda (Underwood) Oldham on July 19, 1960. Brent graduated with a Doctorate in Psychiatric Medicine from University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, with an undergraduate degree in sciences from Harding University. He spent many years as a physician, mentor, and friend to more people than we can ever imagine. Brent treasured the time he spent with his family and friends. He enjoyed the outdoors, creative endeavors, and music. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Vaneesa; his sons, Joshua and Jonathan (Lisa) Oldham; his daughters and son, Nathan, Natasha, and Anatasia Pumphrey; his parents, Dr. Bill and Monda Oldham; his siblings, Cliff (Gabrielle) Oldham and Bill (Cassandra) Oldham; his granddaughters, Kalina Hastings and Presli Pumphrey; nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family, friends, colleagues, and patients who will miss his humor, kind and gentle heart, and professional care and guidance. Visitation will be from 10:00 -12:00 on Saturday morning, October 19th in the chapel at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home. A celebration of Brent's life will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 19th at Eagle Point Church at 11111 Geyer Springs, Little Rock with Pastor Jerry Riddle officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Brent's honor may be sent to Lion's World Services for the Blind, Gideon's International, Eagle Point Church of God, or Wounded Warriors Organization.
