Passed away peacefully with his wife by his side. Dearly loved husband and soulmate of Tammie and adored and cherished father of Lottie and Brylee.

My heart was torn
in two,
One side filled
with heartache,
The other side died
with you.
I often lie awake
at night
When the world is fast asleep, and
Take a walk down memory lane,
With tears upon
my cheeks.
Remembering you
is easy,
I do it every day,
But missing you
is heartache
That never
goes away.
I hold you tightly within my heart
And there you
will remain.
Until the joyous
day arrives,
That we will
meet again.

Dear Tammie, Lottie and Brylee, thinking of you all. It's very hard to find the right words for your tragic loss. Brett was way too young to be taken. Hold onto your beautiful memories you have of your short time together. Draw on the strength and courage of the people around you to help you through your time of grief. Love to you all. The President, players, and friends of Trevallyn Cricket Club have lost a great mate, far too soon, and we bid him farewell with sadness. He is now at peace after a tough struggle with illness since December. Our mate was always a fighter but this was a fight nobody could win, not even Brett. Respected and missed by all his friends. Our thoughts are with his wife Tammie, daughters Lottie and Brylee, and extended family.
