I attended that small school with Brian and we were in the same church youth group. His family were the only folks I knew that lived in a Sears kit house (on James Street), he was distressed that it had undergone 'improvements' in recent years. Such a funny guy, always upbeat, wore a bright orange jacket in the winter in high school. One year in high school Easter Sunday fell on his birthday, March 29. When church was over and we stepped outside it had snowed! Not just flurries, but real snow. Such memories. He would send interesting emails including a memorable one of 'Whiter Shade of Pale' performed brilliantly. Will miss you brother and we'll see you again. 'Shorty'(his nickname for me).

We will miss you Brian. So many great memories of you and Pat from Germany Texas and Ohio. The brunches in the BOQ, trips in Germany. The jokes he liked to play. The on going joke with a book no one wanted. It had a lots of trips back and forth being passed in very sneaky ways in cars and houses. He got the last joke. It will remain safe at our house for now. We will miss the calls on Veterans Day and the funny things he would find and Pat would share by e mail. Much love to you Pat, and the kids.

I attended that same small school with Brian from K-12. We kept in touch off and on for the next 50 odd years. Twenty years ago I was going thru a very difficult time. When Brian found out about my troubles he took the time to send me a funny email or and inspirational quote every day to help me get thru the illness and death of my husband. His care and encouragement helped me survive the most difficult time in my life. That is the measure of this man. My sympathy to his family. Rest in peace my friend.

Oh my what wonderful memories of Brian in germany, Texas, and even in Ohio. He loved to make Pat call on 11-11 to remind me of our Germany days. He teased me about my use of my ham radio operators license and the not use of it. God bless you and Pat and all the children. Lots of love
