Brian Hogan Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 27, 2024.
Brian David Hogan, 69, died peacefully Sunday, August 25th, 2024, of complications from cancer. He was born on June 17th, 1955, and raised in Portsmouth, NH. The youngest of four children, Brian was a loving son to the late J. Andrew Hogan and Rachel (Napert) Hogan. He graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1974 and lived his life on the Seacoast and on Ossipee Lake. Brian was a jack of all trades, and worked in pool installation, the antenna business, and construction. He then combined his skills as a craftsman and businessman by owning and operating rental properties. His true passion was working with his hands, building and creating.

Brian is survived by his sons, Jack of Portsmouth, Gallagher and his wife Emily of Portsmouth, grandchildren Elanor and Charles, and dear friends Dale and Kristi Hovey, of Stratham. He was predeceased by his son Benjamin Hogan.

WE REMEMBER: Brian was a caring father who loved his family and friends. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, skiing, sailing, swimming, and boating. Most of all he loved watching the sunsets over the white mountains from the big lake. Known for his famous blueberry pancakes, one of Brian's greatest joys was cooking for family and friends and creating memories that would be cherished forever. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

SERVICES: A private Celebration of Life will be held for close friends and family at a future date. For those wishing to honor Brian, donations in his name can be made to Breathe New Hampshire.
