Brian Smith Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Nov. 30, 2021.
Smith 1958~2021 Brian R. Smith of West Chester, PA formerly of Clifton Heights, PA left this world on November 30th, 2021. We are happy for him to be reunited with his father, Robert and brother, Bobby. Brian's laughter was infectious and his sense of humor was a hallmark we will cherish as we keep his memory alive. Brian loved all things sports. He played football, baseball and basketball in high school and continued playing well into his 30's. Brian loved to read and was a true history buff and a #1 fan of the History Channel. Fascinated by airplanes, he could be found on many days at the local airport with his son, Anton, talking with the pilots and watching the small planes come and go. Always the ladies man, Brian enjoyed the pool at the local gym, where he would participate in the aquatics classes along with all the retired ladies. Brian's short bucket list was to return to Hawaii with his wife, Nancy, where they were married on the beach in Maui. Brian is survived by his wife of 35 years, Nancy (Feldman); sons Anton & Andrew (Sarah Thomas) along with his Mother, Janet Smith (Henry), brother Jim Smith, sister Jackie Keown, Brother-in-laws Bob Keown, Bobby Feldman, Larry Feldman and Sister-in-Laws Lois Tierney, Joan Feldman (Norman), Terri Long. Brian will be fondly remembered by his extended family including Julie Eachus and Jennifer Gerrity, along with his many cousins, nieces and nephews. Relatives and Friends are invited to his Visitation on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 9:30AM-11:15AM with a Life Celebration to follow 11:30 AM at the Danjolell Memorial Home of Broomall 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008 all are invited to share a fond memory of Brian.

Our time together was too short. I will always cherish the wonderful conversations we had, and most of all the laughs we shared. - Julie

Brian always made me laugh. I was so glad I got to see him and get my hugs and kisses in. Matt says he was sorry he did not go to the fireworks on Saturday night because Brian always took the time to talk to him about sports and would throw the football around in the yard when visiting so. He will be missed. Our thoughts prayers and loads of love are sent to Nancy, the boys and the entire Smith Family.

Brian brought the fun to every party, every gathering. Samantha and Dan will always remember Brian's sense of humor, always willing to lend a hand. I have a very special video of Brian calling out to Sam and Rob as they thanked everyone for coming to their baby shower. I remember Brian pumping his fist and calling out, "Way to go, Mama!" as Sam spoke about becoming a mother. I can truly say there was no one like Brian. We will cherish our memories, always thinking of him fondly.
