When the first movie about Brooke was on TV I thought, "This is an amazing person, I can only hope to be just as amazing myself." I am deeply saddened in the loss of Brooke and send my condolences to her whole family.

I have to confess, I hadn´t heard of this wonderful lady until now. I´m heavily disabled, though there´s not much support for those with disabilities where I live. It´s a shame there aren´t more people like Brooke out there, to fight for our rights & equality. But I´m glad that she was able to touch many hearts & help many others in similar situations. Without a doubt, she´s a credit to her family, friends & colleagues alike. Brooke has earned her wings of gold that will carry her home, to paradise. Bless you, sweet lady.

I went to Murphy and Ward Melville with Brooke. I remember seeing her in the hallways with her mom every day. I had broken my arm and instead of walking up the stairs i was allowed to use the elevator during that time and would get to chat with her quickly during that time. She was always very friendly with a huge smile that always lit up her face and her signature ponytail always hung down the back of her wheelchair. RIP Brooke. You have accomplished more than so many of us could have ever dreamed of! I hope you are now dancing up in heaven

I had never heard Brooke´s story till this morning on the Willy Geist show.
I am in awe of this brave, brilliant woman. Her achievements in light of her disabilities will stay with me forever. I will think of her when I face what I think are impossible odds and hopefully push forward. A hero for sure...
I am sorry for this enormous loss for those who loved and were inspired by her.

My condolences and prayers to Brooke's family. But Brooke is in a better place called Heaven. Brooke is healed. She now can walk in Heaven and run and skip and can swim in The River Of Life. I had a handicapped daughter who was born with disabilities and seizures. She was in a wheelchair until 25. She went to Heaven at 25. She now can walk and run and skip and swim in The River Of Life. The Lord Is My Shepherd. Psalm 23.
