I knew Brook through Rebecca and although I didn't know Brook well, I certainly felt like I did. She was so friendly and outgoing - she always went out of her way to say hello no matter what the circumstances. She was a light that shone indiscriminatingly on everyone she met. I am so sad I did not have the opportunity to know her better.

Brooke was a fun loving kind of girl. She'll be missed a great deal. No matter where I was, if she saw me, she made a point to run to me and speak. I have so many things in my house now that scream Brooke...she knew my love for elephants and she went out of her way to make sure my place had a heard. I'm going to miss her something fierce.

Brook was always so self confident and adventurous; so self-confident and so very friendly. She celebrated and thoroughly appreciated the power she possessed as a woman. She was a very intelligent and carefree spirit. We will all miss having her in our lives. Shine on us all and forgive us for our failings.
