Bruce G. Banks, Jordanville, NY and previously from Panther, PA, died on Tuesday, April 8th, 2025 at the age of 95.

He was a kind, intelligent, and caring man.

He was the youngest son of the late Burton S. and Cora G. Banks.

Bruce and family operated Wintergreen Farm in Panther until 1977 and then moved to a larger dairy farm in upstate New York. He had successfully developed a herd of purebred registered Holsteins.

Bruce was active in many Newfoundland community activities including school board, Newfoundland Moravian Church and the Greene Dreher Fair Association and 4H.

In New York state, Bruce was active in FORE, an organization promoting wind energy. He enjoyed travel and politics and loved visiting with his family. He enjoyed being outdoors and especially tending to a large vegetable garden.

He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Marilyn; daughter, Debbie Banks Miller, son-in-law, Niel Miller; son, Kevin Banks, daughter-in-law, Sarah Banks; son, Burton Banks, daughter-in-law, Denise Manhart; grandsons Lucas, Darren, Andrew, Cale and granddaughter, Audrey. Also, great- grandchildren, William, Nolan, Felicity, and Laura. He was close to many of his nieces and nephews and family was very important to him.

A memorial service was held at Frey-Fetsock Funeral Home on Monday, April 14th, 2025, prior to internment in Newfoundland Moravian Cemetery.
