Peacefully, after a courageous battle, on Friday, December 19, 2014. Devoted father and father-in-law of Jaimee and David Mandell, and Mark Diamond. Cherished grandpa of Rhys and William Mandell. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Howard and Louise, and the late Gary Diamond. Nephew of Goldie Steinberg. Son of the late Gerald and the late Ruth Diamond. Special thanks to Mort Dubinsky for his care, kindness and devotion, and the 4th floor staff at Mount Sinai Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, December 22 at 11 a.m. Burial at the Beth-El Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva private, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday. Donations in Bruce's memory may be made to the Montreal Neurological Hospital Foundation, (514) 398-1958.
