CARL J.
On Thursday, June 15, 2006, Carl J. Keller, age 85, beloved husband of Jessie M. (Walker) Keller of Avalon. He is also survived by loving children Ruth Ann King & her husband Charles of FL, Carl G. Keller of Beaver County and Jayne F. Keller of FL; sister of Marie Reber; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and by friend Ruth Bradley. A WWII veteran, Mr. Keller served with the U.S. Navy. Notably, he was an accomplished boxer during this time, and was champion of his fleet. A dispatcher, he worked for Columbia Gas for over 30 years. He was a member of American legionPost 116 in Avalon and also a chamption pigeon flyer. Friends invited Sunday 2-4 & 6-8pm in The ORION C. PINKERTON FUNERAL HOME, INC., A Golden Rule Member Firm, 1014 California Ave., Avalon ( North Boros), where funeral services will be held Monday morning at 11:00.
