Carl RAYNER Obituary
79 years. Passed away December 11, 2011. Late of Harrow. Beloved husband of the late Mary (Craig) (2010). Beloved father of Leonard and Judy Rayner, Linda and Dennis Sinasac, Harrow, Laurie and Bob I'Anson, St. Catharines. Loving grandpa of Jeremy (Sara), Sierra (Scott), Misty (Steven), Jodi, Shelbey (Jason) and Rob. Loving great grandpa of Wyatt, Peyton, Easton, Tyce and Avery. Dear brother of Robert and Gladys Rayner, Petrolia, Earl and Cathy Rayner, Kitchener, Stuart and Peggy Rayner, Belmont, Eleanor Muttersbach, Windsor, Sue Neuts Kingsville. Also remembered by many nieces and nephews. Doug retired from Canada Customs with 32 years of service, served 5 years in the Royal Canadian Navy, and served in active duty during the Korean War. Doug was a member of the R.C.L.B. #338 Harrow for 57 years and served as President from 2000-2002. Doug was a past president of the Harrow-Malden A.O.T.S. Men's Club and the Harrow Community Seniors Club. Visitation at

Tuesday 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. R.C.L.B. #338 Service 7:30 p.m. A service to celebrate Doug's life will be held on Wednesday December 14, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Father Paul Innes officiating. Interment at Christ Church Cemetery, Colchester. Memorial donations may be made to Hotel Dieu-Grace Renal Dialysis, St. Andrew's Church or the charity of your choice. To my eastern cousins, Leonard, Linda & Laurie, your spouses and families I extend my condolences from my family & I out here in Manitoba. I have fond memories of my Uncle Doug, your Dad, especially the house on the Potleg and also Christmas at Gra'ma RAYNER's. As you realize - memories are special, especially to me so far from family !!

Dear Rayner Family. My condolences on the passing away of Carl. I worked with Carl when he worked with Customs at the tunnel. He will be missed by those who knew him. He was kind and thoughtful person.
