Bill and Carmen were in our Bible study several years. We dearly loved them! It's been a while since we've seen Carmen (last ran into her at Washington Square). We will miss her here on earth but know we will one day have a joyful reunion! God be with her family and give them the peace only He can give! Karl & Darlene

Amber Lee, I was sad to see the passing of your mother. I knew her primarily through your dad, Bill. Years ago, I went on a mission trip with him to Oaxaca. We had several functions after that where we would get together with spouses. I would also see her at Our Saviors Lutheran church where we went at that time. She was a delightful person, always so positive and my life is better for knowing she and your dad. Mike Darcy

Amber and family we are sorry to hear of your mother's passing and extend our love and prayers to you at this time. We had known Carmen and Bill through Our Saviors Lutheran Church for many years and have many wonderful memories of them both. They were both so very strong in their faith and it just glowed from them. On some of my travels I brought back a mask to add to Carmen's collection. She was such a loving and caring person who had many friends. I had the privilege of being with Bill in the mountains around Oaxaca with Northwest Medical Teams as we helped install a water project for the native Mixtec Indians of that area. He constantly talked of the love of his life, Carmen, and his two daughters. May God continually wrap His loving arms around you and your family in your loss and we know she is with Bill and singing praises to our Lord.
