Bluffton - On Tuesday, August 19th, 2025 Lynn left this life to move on to the next.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Helen Parton Goforth Cox and Woodrow Howard Goforth; her stepfather, Charles Eugene Cox; her dearest sister, Sandy Goforth Nelson and her son, Gavin Marc Raiteri.

Lynn Graduated from Powell High School in Powell, TN in 1962 and went on to the University of Tennessee to study Art History. She met the love her life, Joseph Mark Raiteri in Knoxville. They were married in 1964 and just last week celebrated their 61st Wedding Anniversary.

She is survived by her devoted husband Mark, their 2 sons Dr. Anthony Valentine Raiteri (Wendy) and Ashley Lowe Raiteri (Reneé), 8 grandchildren; Kara Lynn, Phoenix, Desiree', Adaijah, Anyah, Jonee', Josiah, and Cella Raiteri, 3 great grandchildren; Ja'ir, Jai'Daruis, Ja'ny Raiteri, Lynn's brother David Cox (Erica) and several cherished nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Lynn had a wonderful smile that lit up a room, a twinkle in her eye and a wicked sense of humor. She was a Real Estate Investor, an Entrepreneur and an Official Tour Guide for Old Town Savannah.

She had a flair for fashion, a passion for Interior Design/Building. Though she loved living in the "Low Country" she always missed the beautiful mountains of East Tennessee.

Lynn will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Graveside Service and Burial will be held Saturday, Aug. 30th at 11am at St. Luke's United Methodist Church Cemetery, 3080 Okatie Hwy, Bluffton, South Carolina.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org.
