I am very saddened to hear of the death of my friend Dr. Louden. He was my son Faxon's doctor since birth. He was so dedicated to helping all of his patients to feel the best that they could and handling each time we visited with his trademark smile and soft voice. Faxon never worried that Dr. Louden wouldn't be able to "fix him up." He lived his life with grace, kindness and dedication to his patients. We have very fond memories of one of the finest men who ever cared for his "kids." I want Peggy and his family to know that we care...he was quite a guy!!

A Marblehead treasure who was always there for our family. The epitome of the perfect pediatrician. Calm, reassuring, smart, but most importantly empathetic. My girls had to be coerced to an adult Dr while in college! Seeing him downtown there was always a friendly smile. Our hearts go out to the entire Louden and extended family. His life truly was a life well lived and may you all find peace in that.

Our children are now adults, but from the time they were born, Dr. Louden was such an integral part of their and our lives. He combined such an easy, relaxed wit with his profound medical knowledge - making each visit with him comforting and informative for our children and for us. Dr. Louden, you helped Len and me raise Julie, Michael and Adam in the most positive ways imaginable, whether in person, or over the phone - even a few of those phone calls being at 3:00 a.m.! May you rest in peace, and know how thankful and grateful we are for all the guidance you have provided us in helping to raise our children. To your family, please accept our most sincere condolences and know how much you are in our thoughts and prayers. Love, Debbie and Lenny Leibowitz

To the Louden family I'm so sorry for your loss. Dr. Louden
hired me in June of 1989. I went on to work for Marblehead
Pediatrics for 23+ years. Dr. Louden was an amazing man.
He worked so hard was so knowledgeable and kind. He
wanted every sick child seen that day and therefore worked
many long days. The parents and children of Marblehead
Were so fortunate to have his care for so long

Dear Louden Family,
I will be forever grateful for the wonderful care Dr. Louden provided to our son. His medical knowledge and patience was a constant comfort when needed. When our son was accepted to Stanford, Dr. Louden was as happy as we were, sending him a card telling him to just do it!.
I have a fond memory when we met for coffee on the Stanford campus when he was there for his 50th medical school reunion.
Reading the beautiful tribute made his life come alive. Clearly a life well lived leaving a memorable legacy.

Dear Peggy,
I am deeply saddened by Dr. Louden's passing.
My deepest sympathy goes out to you and family during this time.
Dr. Louden was a fair and kind boss and it was a pleasure working for him. I loved watching him interact with his patients (children) it was very obvious that he loved his job and the children loved him. He was always available to them and their parents whenever they needed him, be it on the weekends or 3 o'clock in the morning. I would be there even if it was just at end of a phone line. Thank you Dr. Louden for being such a gentleman, a great doctor and a good men.

Dear Louden family
What a wonderful tribute to Dr. Louden who saw my children from their birth through there 20's. His tribute captured the essence of his practice and his devotion to his practice. He always delighted in seeing my grandchildren when I brought them swimming and he was in the pool. He always greeted me with a smile. May your happy memories assist you through this grieving process. Susan Finigan
