VANHUMBECK, Charles Joseph James (Chuck) on Saturday, July 20, 2002, at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Public General Campus, at the age of 45 years. Dear son of Mrs. Eva Toulouse of Chatham. Predeceased by his father Charles VanHumbeck (1996) and his stepfather Vern Toulouse (1997). Beloved fiance of Jennifer Roebuck. Dear father of Tara Elliott of Toronto, Harley Elliott and his wife Lisa of London, Charles and Kristen VanHumbeck of Glencoe,Melanie VanHumbeck and Tim of Florida, Christine VanHumbeck of Cedar Springs. Dear brother of Mrs. Robert Barnwell (Celine) of Merlin, Darcy VanHumbeck and his wife Lisa of Chatham, Curtis vanHumbeck and his wife Linda of Chatham, Sandra Toulouse (Rick) of Chatham, and Rori-Jo and Guy Ouellette of Chatham. Also survived by 5 grandsons, 1 granddaughter, and many nieces & nephews. Special friends to Chuck and Jennifer are Phil MacIsaac, Ben Taylor, Mark Lane, Nicole Lauwereys, Sonia Strumillo, Spencer Lauwereys, Cassie MacKinnon, Chris Gibbs, Brian Smith, and Mouse Thibert. Chuck was a proud member of Local 1244 Millwrights Windsor, A.A. since 1990, and was an avid "Harley" enthusiast. Friends may call at the Alexander Funeral Home, 245 Welling-ton St. W. (352-2710), from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. The funeral service for Mr. VanHumbeck will be conducted from the Chapel on Wednesday, July 24, 2002, at 10 a.m., with Father Gregory Bonin of St. Joseph's Church officiating. Interment Maple Leaf Cemetery. If friends desire, memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
