Charlyn Stewart, 51, passed away on Friday, December 30th, at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born in Kokomo, Indiana on October 16, 1965 to George Bookmiller and Linda (Tom) Bass.

Charlyn attended Hayworth High School and was married to Brent Stewart. Brent passed away on February 13, 1991.
Charlyn was a longtime member of the West Side Baptist Church in Kokomo, Indiana. She spent several years working as a devoted care giver. She was also an auto enthusiast and enjoyed gardening.

Funeral Services will be held at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home on Thursday, January 5, 2016 at 1:00 pm. A public visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Along with her parents, Charlyn is survived by her son, Josh Stewart, and her granddaughter, Ara Stewart. She is also survived by 3 sisters, Carrie Needler, Debbie (Tony) Johnson, and Kathy Longacre. Charlyn also has several nieces and nephews.
