Cheryl Ann (Mummert) Boring

Cheryl Ann (Mummert) Boring, 66, passed away peacefully at her residence in Dover, Pa surrounded by her loving children on October 21,2024 after fighting a seven-year long battle with Liposarcoma. Cheryl is survived by her beloved children; Jamie Boring, of Thomasville; Jessica Boring, of Dover; and James Boring III, of Dover. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Alivya, James, and Cameron. She is additionally survived by her sisters; Joyce Portko of York, Bonnie Miller (Keith) of York, Connie Ciapetti (Lyle) of South Carolina. Cheryl is predeceased by her mother, Faye Attinger, and stepfather, Mark Attinger; father, Harlan Mummert; sister, Gail Miller.

Cheryl was born on August 28,1958 in York, Pa.

Cheryl graduated from York County School of Technology in 1976. She was a member of the Vikings Athletic Association and Shiloh American Legion. Cheryl loved nothing more than to be riding her Harley on the country roads while listening to music. She was the life of the party. She loved to sing and dance, enjoyed live music entertainment with her loved ones, and was always there to lend a helping hand. She was the Jack of all Trades. If it was broke, she could fix it. Cheryl loved to karaoke, dress up for Halloween, decorate for the holidays, and was very artistic. Most of all, her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy. Cheryl will be forever loved and deeply missed in so many ways.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service for Cheryl at Friendship Community Church located at 3389 Fox Run Rd. Dover Pa 17315. Officiated by Pastor Logan on Friday, November 1st with visitation beginning at 10:00am followed by service at 10:30am.
