CHRISTINE PETRAGLIA Obituary
On Tuesday, October 24, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Carmen A. Petraglia; mother of Elizabeth Flynn (Michael D.), Patricia Carnevali (Steve), Carmen (the late Peggy), Barbara McGregor (Paul), Robert (Cindy), Dr. William (Sandy), and the late Louis Petraglia (Joanne); survived by 18 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren; sister of Teresa Chianelli and the late Frank L. Chianelli and Mary Kozak. Christine loved her family and adored and was adored by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at JOHN A. FREYVOGEL SONS, INC. (freyvogelfuneralhome.com), 4900 Centre Avenue at Devonshire Street, on Thursday 5-8 p.m. and Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Saturday, Mass of Christian Burial, St. Maria Goretti Parish Immaculate Conception Church 10 a.m.

Uncle Carm, Carmie, Jimmy, Maggie and all of the Petraglia family:
I was so sad to hear about the loss of Mrs. Petrag... she was such a wonderful and amazing woman who made everyone feel loved and welcome. The memories I have from my childhood will always be carried with me and stories of my time with you all have been shared with my children.
I am sincerely sorry that I couldn't make it to see her one last time, but know that she and all of you have been and always will be on my mind and in my heart.

Please accept my deepest sympathy for the passing of your loved one. Her husband, Dr.Carmen was my first dentist in 1943 (at 16). I always planned my appointments in the evening, so we could listen to the Rosary on the radio. About four years ago, I had the pleasure to converse with their granddaughter who attended
St. Raphael Grade School. I graduated from there in 1941.
