My Dearest Love, I still can't believe that it's been 4 years now since you've gone to our heavenly home. I miss you every day. Your wisdom, laughter and love. I miss talking to you and hearing your voice, the feel of your embrace and the softness of your kiss. I feel your presence visit me from time to time and I am sorry if I've disappointed you by not moving on with living. I am trying, my darling. But when you've had perfection (even with your imperfections) - it's hard to give my heart to another. I love you always and forever and am thankful for the time we did have together.

I just discovered the horrible news. To all those who were close and fortunate enough to love Chris, (and more fortunate to be loved by Chris) I want to send my deepest sympathies. If he taught us anything it is to live the way he did, fearless and full of love. My prayers will be with you all.

Just learned of Chris's passing and I am deeply saddened. We worked together at Napa for many years and he sure kept us laughing. I know he will be missed by so many. Many thoughts and prayers to his family.

Dear Mike, Nonie, and Kami,
We are saddened to hear of Christopher's passing. We remember him as a very young boy with a beautiful smile and enthusiastic personality very much like his picture, and Anthony's, in the photo gallery. The photos show how very much he was loved by his family and how he loved you all. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Ed and Julie Fiscus (Park City, Utah)

My sincere condolences to the Ryder family. While I didn't know Chris personally, I know he made my sister, Charma, very happy. He truly was the love of her life...and I am very grateful to him for loving her so much and giving her some wonderful memories.
I pray God gives each of you a peace that only He can give...May God give you strength these next days and in the days & years ahead as you continue on...May your memories bring smiles rather than tears...
With much sympathy,

Mike, Nonie, Kami, Dana, Anthony, TJ & Emi: I know how much each of you meant to Chris and how much he loved & cared for each of you. There are no words that can express the heartache and void his leaving us physically has left. But I also know that we will be reunited and Chris remains in each of you. His love was such that it only continued to grow. I pray for peace and comfort during this extremely difficult time and the days to follow. I wanted you to know that I spoke to Chris the day he left us and he was happy, truly happy - he had a great day rehearsing music, he had a good night with Anthony, and although the reports from work drove him crazy, he was able to fix it - which made him happy -- He truly is / was a remarkable guy - and a lot of that is because of you all -- your imprints on his life made him who is was. - charma

Mike & Nonie: While we didn't know Chris, from what we've read, he was well-loved and following his passion. Based on Nonie's comment, I can picture him in heaven playing to the crowd and bringing smiles to their faces. Perhaps that is why God called him Home. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with Chris' family during this difficult time.
