MARBACH
Claude John Marbach also known as "C.J." and lovingly called "HaHa" by his grandkids and great grandkids was born on February 12, 1924 in Cibolo, Texas entered into rest on September 23, 2013 at the age of 89 years. He was a WWII Vet in the US Navy and served with his four brothers. He was on the USS Shaw in the South Pacific from April 1942 to September 1945. He was the owner of Grayson St. Garage from 1946 to 1989. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Schmid Marbach; sister, Dorothy Williamson, brothers, Udo, Milton, David, ands Andy Marbach. He is survived by his daughter, Carol Van Delden (Barron); son, Michael Marbach (Dianna); grandchildren, Michael Marbach (Amy), Melissa Skurka (David), Brandon Van Delden, Claudine Van Delden (Jay Davidson), Troy Van Delden (Kathy); great grandchildren, Jordan and Taylor Skurka, Michael Dean and Wesley Marbach, Zane and Grant Davidson, and Vivian Van Delden. Visitation will be held on Wednesday. September 25, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. at Alamo Funeral Chapels with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Private graveside services will be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Association (ALSA). Arrangements are with:
