Connie Britton Obituary
peacefully at her home on Wednesday, December 21, 2022.
She is survived by her husband, her brother George Austin Beck (Connie), and her four children, Beth Britton
Stuckey, Babs Britton Wilson (Tim), Becky Britton Funderburk (Bevan), and John James Britton Jr, MD
(Helen). "Goose" has a gaggle of 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
A celebration of Connie's' life will be held on Tuesday, December 27 at 1:00 PM at Church of the Holy
Comforter, 213 N. Main Street, Sumter SC. The family will receive friends following the service in the
Parish Hall. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 28 at 1:00 PM, Woodland
Cemetery on the Clemson University campus. Memorials may be made to the Church of the Holy
Comforter.

J J , so very sorry to read about Connie. Always enjoyed seeing and talking to her in 430 at the Martin Inn. Connie will be my neighbor next Wednesday and depending on the terrain I will try to visit her. Thoughts and prayers for the family!
