Corey Keon Love

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Corey Love, who departed this life on April 15, 2025, in Hobart, Indiana, just one day before his 46th birthday.

Born on April 16, 1979 to Jimmie and Carolyn Love, Corey lived a life rich in passion and connection. A devoted fan of the Chicago Bears, he followed every game with steadfast loyalty and infectious enthusiasm. Whether celebrating victories or enduring defeats, his spirit never wavered. His love for competition extended to the poker table-Corey was an avid Texas Hold 'Em player who cherished both the strategy of the game and the camaraderie it fostered.

Yet it was in moments shared at home that Corey's light shone brightest. Playing games with family filled his heart with joy, laughter echoing through rooms where bonds were deepened and memories made. These simple gatherings captured the essence of who he was-a man who valued time spent together above all else.

Corey was a proud father of Keon, Kiara, Corey, and Marisa. His devotion to his children ran deep. He stood beside them through every triumph and trial, offering unwavering support and unconditional love. At the heart of his world was his beloved wife, Tiffaney-their relationship a testament to enduring partnership built on mutual respect, laughter, and love.

Those who knew Corey remember him for his fierce loyalty, generous nature, and sharp sense of humor. He had a gift for bringing people together-around a poker table, a game or simply through shared stories, smiles, and songs.

Though he has left this world, Corey Love's spirit lives on in the hearts of those he touched. May his memory bring comfort and warmth to all who knew him. He is preceded in death by parents Jimmie and Carolyn Love, his children Corey Jr and Kamille Love, brother Carl Applewhite, sisters Victoria and LaVonne Love.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 19 years, his children, his God Children DaMarious Spann and David Caldwell Jr, his sister Jannine(Clarence) Bess, his brother Jimmie (Alice) Caldwell, his mother in Love Lisa (Martin) Simane, Brother in love Charles (Jennifer) Harmon, brother in love Derrell Price, a few special relatives, his best friends, And a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins.
