Craig and I grew up in the same neighborhood, went to school together, rode motorcycles, worked at Murs, and just hung out together throughout high school. I will miss him, he was my friend. God speed brother.

CHERICO... WAS PART OUR WONDERFUL LIFE IN THE EARLY 80'S, WHEN HE RAN THE FIRESTONE STORE IN CEDAR PARK, WHICH WAS CROSS THE STREET FROM OUR liquor STORE (BUZZ-IN LIQUOR).
AT THAT TIME MY SON WAS BETWEEN 2 TO 3 YEARS OF AGE, HE WANTED ME TO TAKE HIM TO MCDONALDS AT LEAST ONCE WEEK. BUT THE MC DONALDS WAS LOCATED IN AUSTIN, AROUND BURNET ROAD. CHERICO VOLUNTARY TO TAKE MY SON ONCE WEEK FOR HIS FIX OF MCDONALDS IN ONE OF HIS LIMNO. HE LOVED IT.
WE ALSO HAD COMMON INTERSET, WE BOTH HAD A GREAT LOVE FOR ANIMALS, LIKE OUR COURAGES (PETE AND SIDNEY) AS PETS, WE TRADE OUT BABY SETTING TIME BETWEEN US OR GO AND HANG OUT AT 6TH STREET WITH OUR CATS. WHAT FUN THAT WAS!
GOOD FRIENDS ARE HARD TO FIND,HARDER TO LEAVE AND IMPOSSIBLE TO FORGET!
YOU WILL ALWAYS BE IN OUR HEARTS!

Was a schoolmate of Craig's from 1st through 12th grade. I would only run into Craig occasionally for the next 40 years, but recently started having monthly Saturday morning group breakfasts with him. I'm so glad to have re-connected and he will sorely be missed.

I knew Craig (how could you not know Craig) when I ran Dallas Nightclub in the mid 80's. He was one of those people you wanted to be around because how could you not have fun? His energy, presence, kindness, FUN, craziness will be remembered by many. I'm glad I knew him.

Craig, aka "Lone Star Kid" as many knew him years ago, my life-long best friend, everyone's friend and confidant, has left us. If I could not rely on anyone else, Craig was always there. Anyone who knew him, knew that was just the way he was. He was selfless - he would put his friends before himself. For 40+ years, we spent countless hours together barbequing, boating and making sure all was in order at the Silver Dollar and Dallas nightclubs. I was honored to be his best man in his wedding. I will never forget him. The memories are forever fresh. I have missed Craig for the last 11 years I have been gone. I look forward to our reunion when he and I meet again when the Lord calls for me. I was blessed to have known him. May God bless his family, loved ones, and all who knew him.

I grew up a couple of streets away and would always use his yard to go to Shoal Creek. At Christmas his folks would decorate the roof like Santa fell and all the presents were littered over the roof.
