GILMER -- Cynthia "Cindy" Eileen Gant, 20, of Longview, died Sunday, February 6, 2005, at a Longview hospital. She was born October 15, 1984, in Whitney, the daughter of Bartley Wayne and the late Brenda Eddleman Gant. She grew up in Hillsboro and moved to Longview in May of 1996. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Frank and Melba Eddleman. She was a Baptist. Survivors include her father and mother, Bartley Wayne and Billie J. Gant of Hillsboro; one sister, Ne-Sha Hartman of Anchorage, Alaska; paternal grandparents, Bart and Wanda Gant of Whitney; step-grandparents, Troy and Mary Farquhar of Whitney; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today, February 10, 2005, at Edens Funeral Home Chapel in Hillsboro with the Rev. Bill Waldrop and the Rev. Johnny Pelham officiating. Interment will be at Ridge Park Cemetery in Hillsboro.
