Teacher Cynthia was such an amazing special lady. She was my Wednesday night Sunday School teacher for a while. I remember all the joy she brought into our classroom and she always had her hair pulled back and a big smile and laughed at our bad elementary school jokes. She was always there when we needed to talk and I pray that God gives her a special blessing in Heaven for reaching the lives of kids.

We are so very sorry for Cindy's tragic passing, but we know that her wonderful spirit is now warmly shining in the hearts of her friends and family. We are especially hopeful that Shanin, Andrew, and Marcus feel her presence and heed her loving guidance for the rest of their lives. Try to make her proud, ask yourselves, "what would mom do?" and your lives will shine with her love and memory. Sending wishes for peace and comfort to you, may happy memories soon prevail.

Cynthia was a lovely young woman. I got to know her because she cleaned my house for me at a time when my health was very compromised. She was a woman of principle and great faith. I admired her resolve, honesty, her amazing work ethic, and her loving dedication to her children. At first, she was fairly reserved but as the weeks passed she became increasingly comfortable and we established a very comfortable camaraderie. We talked a lot; many days, we spent more time talking than cleaning. She was very bright, philosophical. We talked about religion, faith, politics, parenting, health and just about everything in between. I always looked forward to those conversations and her company. When she bought her house, I wanted to give her my antique oak dining table and chairs that she had often admired but being the woman that she was, she would only take it if she paid for it. A short time after that, she was offered an employment opportunity far better than cleaning houses and so our weekly talks came to an end. She was so sweet to send me pictures of the table in her new house and we would talk by phone periodically after that. I believe that she has now found great peace, something that in her earthly life she so richly deserved but rarely found. I pray for her children, family and close friends and hope that with their faith, they will be able to find some comfort in their memories of Cynthia. May God Bless You All, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

I didnt know Cynthia at all, but have some friends who do, I am so very saddened and sorry for the family. Especially her babies, this hit home for me. As I have been in an abusive relationship. I pray that people who are close to her will reach out and speak out and try to help change laws regarding domestic violence. I know it will not bring this beautiful woman back, but it can hopefully help someone else. May you be with God now Cynthia where he will keep you wrapped in his wings and no one can ever hurt you again, and may the Lord watch over your beautiful babies ... I wish there were something I can do to help, but as a stranger, know that you are all in my prayers....

Cynthia has left this earth, but not are hearts, the Lord took her from us to soon, but he said it was time for her to come home and join him. Now Cynthia walks hand in hand with him instead of him walking by her side to make sure that she receives all the blessing she deserved. To Cynthia's family know that she is in a better place and she will be looking down on all of you. My condolences and May she rest in peace. Lerea Law

To Cindy's family and friends. As Cindy's father I am extremely proud to know that she touched so many lives. You can not imagine how she touched mine. I would like to thank you for coming into my daughter life. You helped to create the beautiful person that she was. To my grand kids your mother (my daughter) gave an example with her life for you to live by. I hope during your life that you try to achieve the qualities and values in your life that would make her proud of you. As your grandfather I am extremely proud and honored to have known and loved your mother. There are ups and downs in all of our lives which we have no control over. Our Holy Father controls the path that each of us must follow. None of us know why this is the path that God choose for your Mother, but he is never wrong.

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

I worked with Cynthia in the Concession stand at the Brooklyn Center Little League fields. My first experience working there she showed me how to run the cash register and where everything was located. She was very nice, helpful and always had a smile. She was a very bubbly person that had a zest for life. I am very saddened to hear that she was taken too soon at such a young age. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and children at this difficult time. I hope that her children are able to remember the vest for life that her mother had and are able to get past these traumatic events.
