Daisy Mary Rosalee Harper, also known as Ms. Daisy, was born on April 17, 1943, in Fort Snelling, MN, to the late Clarence and Mary Middlecoff. She is survived by: her husband: Horace Harper; Children: Paul Harper (Ivette, Gabriel & Daniel); Dellenna Harper-Steele (William, Jallanna, Angelus); Granddaughter/daughter/Ride or die and gossip partner: Jallanna (Yesiaah); Sisters: Rita Hayes and Peggy Belle; Grandchildren: Mercedes Harper (Lafon Fazaun Royston) Kahala Johnson, Curtis Johnson, Nancy Johnson, Quentin Harper, Alonzo Mckinney, Xavier McKinney; Taharra Patterson, La'Troya Rulford, Taharra Patterson, Jacquesa Patterson; Great grand son: Yesiaah Nasir Gates (Mother: Jallanna); Niece (April Lawrence (Teja, Jabari); Nephew's: Eric Hayes (Nancy Lia, Quentin) and Erin Hayes (Sophia), and a multitude of cousin, friends and family who loved her dearly.

Our beloved Ms. Daisy passed away on December 12, 2023, in South St Paul, MN, at the age of 80 with her son by her side, reassuring her that "Hey mom I'm here with you, and you're going to be ok, " before she took her last breath.

Daisy proudly served as a waitress at Wong's Cafe on Selby Avenue in St Paul, MN. She was a telephone operator for Northwestern Bell, and a dedicated professional who became a Communications Supervisor at the University of Minnesota Hospital and North Memorial Hospital. She also proudly served as a phlebotomist. She excelled in her career, leaving a lasting impact on all those she worked with and served.

She attended Mckinley Elementary, Marshall Jr. High, graduated from Saint Paul MN Mechanic Arts High School and partied at the University of Wisconsin at River Falls. Daisy instilled a strong faith in Mr Jesus in her children and found a church home at Camphor Memorial United Methodist Church, where she worshipped.

In her free time, Daisy enjoyed garage thrifting, watching sci-fi movies, reading, cleaning, working on family history, listening to Queen Latifa, Ja Rule, indulging in good gossip columns, playing Pokeno, and expressing her dislike for how 50 Cent treated her beloved Ja Rule.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by a Repass from 12:15 pm to 5:00 pm, at Camphor Memorial United Methodist Church, 585 Fuller Avenue, St. Paul, MN 55103.

The Cremation Society of Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN, is honored to assist the family with the arrangements during this difficult time.

Daisy was my daughter´s Girl Scout leader many years ago in Cottage Grove. Her daughter Delenna & my daughter Jill became best friends. We spent many happy times together & got to know Horace & Paul. We are so sad to hear of Daisy´s passing! She was a lovely lady. May she rest in peace! Our deepest sympathies to Horace, Paul, Delenna & all of her family. The Briese family

Daisy and Horace would come to Mpls to play cards at the Baker´s house. Fun times. Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

It has been many years since my wife and I last saw Daisy. Horace and Daisy were our neighbors in Cottage Grove and we became good friends. We were very lucky to have met them Our sincere condolence to Horace and the rest of the family.

I remember stopping by her house, after she had Paul. She was so proud of you! Our family, has known the Middlecoff for years. It goes all the way back to when, Mrs.Middlecoff was a child. My Dad and her were neighbors, grew up together, and both families ended up in Minnesota. So this family has always been apart of our lives, and we are so grateful for this.
