Mr. Dummitt was the very first teacher that helped math make sense to me and made such an impact on me. I am now entering my 22nd year of teaching myself. He was a model teacher to follow. Many condolences to his family.

Mr. Dummitt was one of my favorite teachers in Jr. High school, my favorite memory was him showing a film in science class and me sitting in the back decided to sit on the top of the chair instead of the seat, partway through the film my desk/chair fell backwards, he heard the boom and turned on the lights and there I layed, you could tell he had everything he could do not to crackup.

I am so sorry to the family of Mr. Dummit. I had him for 7th grade science and I just loved him. He had a huge impact on my life and memories of him I still recall to this day. He was a very sweet man and I am sure he will be deeply missed.
