To me this picture epitomizes Dale. Camera in hand, ready to take photos and ready to have fun. This was taken last year at the Beach Life festival. I shared this picture with Kim to show her how kind her husband was to invite me and a friend to a VIP area to watch the concert. I knew Dale for years, as our girls played both soccer and volleyball together. Dale was always at the games, taking pictures and cheering. Like so many have said, Dale was always cheerful and ready for fun. Whenever I would see Dale around town, I would say "See you at Beach Life! Same seats!" I will miss not seeing you at Beach Life Dale. You really were the life of the party. Like Dale, Kim also has an infectious laugh and smile. She is one of the most kind and loving people I know, who always is a joy to be around. I hope to see that happy Kim again some day. Kim, you and Dale raised three lovely girls. You had a special marriage and a lovely life. It´s not fair that he is no longer here to be with you. But I know you have a strong Faith. And with that will come healing.

Spent many great years out on the Ball Fields , high fives in the school hall ways between classes and fun times outside of school . Worked at the same Brokerage Firm with Dale in NYC . The man was always dressed to the nines , was a super smooth dancer as well . The man wore a smile that we could all share . He was infectious in all of the best ways .
Dale was an athlete, scholar and just an over all great guy . Dale and his family are in my prayers. Jtb ... Peace

I´m really not ready to say, "so long bud, I´ll see you when I´m called" but God´s Master Plan didn´t mesh with our hopes and dreams. I loved and so admire the passion you brought to family, friends, and organizations you were involved in. I listened to some of the groups you have blessed and wished they had mentioned Coral Shores High School and The Upper Keys Foundation. My guess is, they didn´t know because, it wasn´t in your nature to let others know all the things you did privately to "make a difference" in countless lives. Many folks you helped are celebrating with you now. The rest of us will have to wait to thank you again in person. Please know that in the interim, I am praying for comfort, strength, and healing for each and every member of you family! Love ya Dale!

We met as rookie brokers at EF Hutton in 1985. It was a regional training session in a conference room in downtown Los Angeles. EFH had assembled about 25 newbies from various branch offices from around SoCal. Dale was from the Santa Monica office and I was from Newport Beach office.
Even though we were the two youngest members of the group, Dale stood out. It seems odd to say, but when he walked into that conference room on that day, he was incandescent. If you know Dale, you know what I mean.
There was the perfectly tailored suit, the perfectly knotted tie, the perfectly placed pocket square, the perfectly matching suspenders, the perfectly coiffed hair and, finally, the million dollar smile.
I prejudged him as an empty suit, and I wanted to hate him immediately, but it was impossible. He was disarmingly charming, humble and gracious, all while being impeccably polite, self-effacing, suave and debonair.
I would soon learn he was a generous and loyal friend with a devilishly infectious joy of having fun. He was one of kind.
May God bless him, Kim and the girls.

I´m so so sorry. We played Pickleball on Wednesdays and shared our mutual love for boating often. In fact, I just took Dale out in front of PV with the guys and he, of course, fixed a problem I had the my anchor. So Dale. He was a great energy positive original.
He will be missed!!!

My dear friend I can´t find the words to describe how much you mean to me. My heart is broken for your family and friends. You left a lasting impression on me and all that knew you. Turn easy double plays, fast pins and no missed tackles. I will never forget how much fun we had and how much we loved joking together. Love you my friend. Coach

Kim, we are all sending you and the girls so much love and as many prayers as we can. The messages already sent in are an amazing tribute to the man you married and the father of ur three beautiful girls. This remembrance was spot on. While we were not particularly close in high school, I got to know Dale better through our CSHS reunions as we matured, shared our common interests and remarked on life´s most important things - family, giving, compassion, living in the moment. It will be sad not to see him at the upcoming 45th reunion. Condolences to his dear family. Rosemary Rausch Macray

I met Dale years ago through my friend Woody Jay. Dale was one of those guys with whom you picked up right where you left off, even if years had passed. He was fun, funny, self-deprecating, and inclusive-there were no outsiders just friends-to-be. My most recent conversation with Dale was just a few weeks ago when I reached out to get his opinion on a boat I was buying in Florida. I had only seen him sporadically over the past few years as I live on the East Coast, but he jumped right in, asked for boat details and photos and by the end of the call he had schemed up an excursion to the Bahamas where I could envision fun and adventure would be had by all. When I make that trip, whenever I am confident enough to do so without a capable wingman like Dale aboard, I will raise a glass and look skyward to celebrate his life and legacy-May they live on through all of us he has touched.
