Damien Lucas Obituary
He was born February 3, 1978 at Portsmouth, VA. He married Bonita Lopez, the Love of his life on February 20, 2008 and was an amazing father to his son Joaquin.
Damien's passion was serving Christ and he made a profound impact, touching lives by demonstrating what it means to serve our Lord with compassion and love. He was a prayer warrior and a blessed listener who knew how to connect with people in a very special way. Damien was a professional Master Barber and the barber chair was his pulpit.
He is survived by his wife, Bonita Lucas and son Joaquin Vanderhorst of the home. Along with his wife and son the following members of his immediate family are in attendance:
His mother Barbara Hawkins of Thackerville, OK.
His father, Waymon Lucas of Washington, DC
His sister Adriane Lucas-Ramsey of Saginaw, TX;
His Sister Janetta Stewart of Gainesville, TX
He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, in-laws and other family members who loved him so dearly.

My heart is broken...Damien and I met 20 years ago and adopted each other as brothers. He was the best friend a guy could have, a great witness for the Lord, and the best barber this side of Heaven. As you used to always tell each other, love you 4 life, Damien. You are missed, but Ill see you again around Gods throne.

May God comfort you and friends during this time, Bonita, we lift you up to the Lord for comfort and peace for all of your family. Monte respected him and thought very highly of him and enjoyed sharing the word of the Lord with him over the years. I enjoyed watching you laugh and enjoy each other. I am truly saddened to hear of this loss, however, heaven is rejoicing as they accepted his spirit. God Bless you all.
