Born on April 6, 1969, in Lebanon, Oregon, Dan pursued higher education at Middle Tennessee State University, earning dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Business Management and Psychology. His dedication to his profession led him to become a Fellow of the Contact Lens Society of America, and a License Master Optician. Through his work, he made a lasting impact in the field of opticianry and ophthalmology, demonstrating both expertise and commitment to excellence.

Dan's faith was the guiding force in his life. A devout Christian, he lived with unwavering conviction and sought to honor God in every decision he made. His passion for his beliefs was evident in all aspects of his life - he never approached anything with indifference, but instead embraced each moment with purpose and dedication.

Those who knew Dan will remember him as an outgoing and outspoken individual who lived passionately and authentically. He was deeply devoted to his wife, Kellie Myer, and their beloved dog Maxx.
