Dana Garcia Obituary
Dana Garcia, 72, of Falfurrias, Texas passed away on February 26, 2025.
She was born to Earl Goldstein and Karen White on August 8, 1952.
Dana loved gardening and always lived a Christian life. She was a preschool teacher. She worked at the Learning Tree and Day Spring Daycare Center for a total of 38 years. As a preschool educator, she touched the lives of more than 500 children and their parents who will always remember her with love and appreciation. Throughout her life, she visited 46 of the 50 states of the United States of America and was also able to travel 5 continents and 23 countries of the world. On December 21, 1974, she married Hector Lewis Garcia.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl Goldstein and Karen White, two sisters, Kathy Downing and Teresa Singlitary, two brothers, Nicky Wayne Goldstien and Glen Goldstien.
Dana is survived by her devoted husband, Hector Lewis Garcia of Falfurrias, Texas, two sons, Jacob Garcia and Daniel Garcia, both of Austin, Texas. One grandchild, Mason Garcia (Amber) of Kingsville, TX. Two great-grandchildren, Jaxon Garcia and Lucian Garcia. One brother, Ronnie Goldstien (Wanda) of Austin, TX, one brother-in-law, James Singlitary, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Chapel Service will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 11:00 am at Alaniz Funeral Home in Falfurrias, TX.

It saddens me to think Dana being so young has left this earth but we know she is in the Lord´s Mansion and some day we will see her again!
I am the oldest Goldstein cousin left and she was such a beautiful girl and had several siblings! I am so glad she and her Hector were able to do so very much traveling! My condolences to her Family and Friends!
