Dan was my co-worker and friend at Lockheed Martin, it was General Dynamics back then. What a wonderful soul he was to work with every day. I was thinking about him because he gave me a book he published and it always made me laugh. My book was taken from me and I could never get another one. He was such a wonderful soul and I will always remember him that way. Mary Margaret he talked about you a lot. I pray you are doing well. Also he talked a lot about his son who at that time was starting a business refilling toner cartridges. I love his picture and the way he looks so happy and such a great soul. I just wanted to say good bye to my friend. Rest in peace, until we meet again!

Dan and Mary Margaret have been in my memory all of my life. I was 6 when we moved to FBC, Arlington, and they were a stable, positive influence in our family. I thank God for their influence. With love and prayers for those who will miss Dan the most. Ruth (Johnson) Edwards

Dan was a wonderful Christian gentleman, a good friend, and a very kind and patient preschool Sunday school teacher. He was my youngest son's teacher 35 years ago, and I have never forgotten his kindness.
Mary Margaret, many prayers are being said for you and your family by all of us who will always love both you and Dan. May God hold you in His loving arms and bring you peace. We are all better for having known Dan and had the privilege of calling him our friend.

My thoughts and prayers with the Basham family.
I remember teaching "down the hall" with Mr. Basham when we were members at FBCA.
Blessings....
