DANNY IS MY UNCLE, AND GROWING UP I ALWAYS THOUGHT THAT HE WAS A BIG MAN. AS I GREW OLDER I REALIZED THAT IT WAS HIS HEART THAT WAS THE BIGGEST PART OF HIM. I WILL MISS OUR "DANCES", HIS WONDERFUL LAUGH AND HIS STRONG HUGS.

My heartfelt condolences to Dan's family. Here's hoping that there are Pontiacs and an old Corvette in heaven.I'm gonna be thinking of Dan at the next car show. Craig Larsen

I was saddened to hear of Danny's death. Our daughter, Jane Lightbody, wrote email and sent me the notice. Danny came to SMDC to be with Dennis Lightbody the day he died, May 9, 2005. How difficult it is to hear that he died so suddenly, and so soon after Dennis died. I can only visualize that Dennis welcomed Danny into their Heavenly home with joy and more stories to share. God bless you and your family. Lil and Jack Larson

Our condolences to the Ion family. Dan was a good friend of my father, Rick Oxendale and he was always kind to our family.

We will all miss him. I'll remember his deep hearty laughter and the fun we had traveling through Northern Minnesota while riding the Gold-Wing with Dan & Claudia. It's one of my best memories of Dan.
I will miss the funny, and sometimes crazy emails he sent.
Also, I will miss the long philosophical discussions we all had at the dinner table about life. I will miss you my friend.
Aloha...
