Our beloved Danielle Joyce Gray blessed our lives on January 28, 1992, in Bakersfield, California and entered heaven on September 15, 2022, at UCLA, Los Angeles, CA.
Danielle was born and raised in Bakersfield, CA. She attended Sing Lum Elementary, Tevis Jr High, Stockdale High School, Bakersfield College, and CA State University, Bakersfield. She obtained an Electrical Engineering degree and was currently finishing up her degree in Accounting. She participated in sports (elementary), orchestra (Jr High and High School), and in VITA, she volunteered to do tax preparation for less fortunate individuals (college). Despite dealing with major medical issues from the age of 15, she excelled at everything she did, including her life.
Danielle was courageous, strong, loyal, and yet a very kind and gentle soul. Her strong faith in God was her foundation and played a very important role in every aspect of her being--it sustained and directed her throughout her life.
She was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her beloved family, Brenda Gray, mother, Uncle Dan, and Rosie, Pete Zuniga (Neddy), father, Carolyn Behm Sherman (Joel), kidney mom, Donald Stanley, honorary father, Bruce (Ann) Gray, Sisters, Jacci (Lonnie) Bickford, Kristina (Esteban) Ramos, Lauren (Julian) Boricean, Michelle Stowe, and brother Peter (Christian) Zuniga and 1 nephew, Steven Ramos (7) and 2 nieces, Victoria Ramos (3) and Ellie Zuniga (1) and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Our deep appreciation goes out to Dr. John Heidrick, Dr. Sven deVos, Dr. Peter McCauley, Dr. Vinh-Linh Nguyen, and Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed who were each key in her life.
Danielle's celebration of life will be held Friday, September 23, 2022, at 4:00pm at LifeHouse Church, 3311 Manor St., Bakersfield, CA 93308.

Danielle you were talking from this way too soon but I know you're going to be looking down up on your mom and your Uncle Dan and taking care of them. You're going to be missed by so many that beautiful radiant smiles that you always had no matter what was very touching and catching for everyone that knew you there's never nothing I can be said and times of losing a loved one but for us that are still here on Earth we know you're not suffering and in pain anymore because you're sitting on the throne with the heavenly father and he is wiped away all the pain you touched a lot of people's lives.
