Danise Baker Obituary
in Houston, Texas. She got her Dental Hygiene degree at the University of Texas.
In 1988 Danise won the Miss Teen Houston contest and went on to win Miss Teen Texas. She modeled for the D'Lynn Modeling agency and taught modeling there.
She was loved by the many patients she worked with as a Hygienist. She was skilled, gentle and worked really well with children. She recently had a Downs Syndrome boy ask her to marry him.
Danise leaves behind three daughters Jenna, Kailey and Alyssa Burkes. She is also survived by her mother Linda O'Neill, father Danny Baker, step father Ken O'Neill, step mother Jane Baker, brother Danny Baker, sister in law Angie Baker, nephews Ellis and Kason Baker, grandfather Hank Hecker. She had a host of uncles, aunts and cousins.

its been a year and a half without you mommy, i miss you more than you could ever know, i wish you were here more than anything, i miss all the love you gave and your sweet hugs. you were my best friend and never failed to put a smile on my face. i wish rip meant return if possible, you taught me how to be strong and how to love. i know the last few years i had with you were hard and you werent all there and u hurt us but you taught me that strengt is found within and no matter how hard it gets to have faith. i love you angle rest easy now.

I'm just learning of Danise's passing. So young, so vibrant a soul gone too soon. Please know you are all in my prayers. Even here in New Mexico, it seems a light has gone out in this sad world.

I love you so much. I'm trying to find the words to express my sadness and pray to God for the girls, and all your family. I know you're in the arms of your sweet Nanny right now, but you and I had business to tend to. I suppose that will just have to wait awhile. Words cannot express how I feel... Danise and I met 16 years ago in the maternity ward after we gave birth to our first born daughters. She had a kind heart and a sweet soul. She loved her family, friends and God. I will always have good memories... My heartfelt sympathies to her sweet girls and her family. May her memory be Eternal.
