Darlene Ellsworth Obituary
Kitty was a 1983 graduate of Hollis area high school, and also graduated from the Culinary Institute of America. He worked as a chef in many hotels and restraints in the area. Until her recent illness, Kitty was manager of the coffee shop and restraint at the family business New England Country Pies of South Merrimack. Kitty enjoyed spending time with her family and camping with the Granite Staters chapter of the FMCA. Kitty and her family have been residents of Merrimack for the past 6 years.
She Leaves behind her husband Bill Ellsworth, son Alex, 10, and daughter Jolie, 1. Kitty is the daughter of David and Jackie Munroe of Dunedin, FL. She is also survived by a brother and sister-in-law Bill and Helen Munroe of Twin Mountain, NH, 3 sisters and 2 brothers-in-law, Donna Munroe of Nashua, Diane and Nick Maragos of Hollis and Debra and Steve Ford of Hollis, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
The George R. Rivet Funeral Home of Merrimack is in charge of arrangements.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 5:30pm at the Alpine Grove of Hollis, and a Celebration of her life will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Palliative Care Services, Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center 1 Medical Center Drive Lebanon, NH 03756. Dear Dave,Jackie,Bill,all the families of this wonderful person,

My heart goes out to you at this time and in the days ahead.
I meet Kitty when she was working in Twin Mtn, she and my sister Cathy were really good friends and we all had some good times up there. :) Kitty was a great person and a special friend to my sister, she and I share the same birthday and are the same age. I forget who is older?
Kitty will be missed greatly and was loved by lots of people, but by gods gift has left a piece of herself that will mean even more to her family.

I just want to express my deepest sympathy to the Munroe and Ellsworth families. I worked for the pie shop and bakery for several years out of high school and in my college years and I was so saddened to hear the news about Kitty's passing. Kitty and the New England Country Pies family were so great to me and my sister Megan who worked there after I finished college. Kitty was an excellent mentor and friend, and she will be dearly missed....
