Darlene Solis

Darlene Solis, 33, of Houston, passed away on April 30, 2020. Darlene Solis was born in McAllen, Texas to Judy Ann Garcia and Rosalio Solis on November 9, 1986. She went to school in The North Houston area. She graduated from Alta Charter a year early and attended Lone Star College.

Darlene was full of life, very humble and always making everyone laugh with her vibrant personality. She was loved by her large extended family and many friends from all over. She was an adventurous young lady; her passion was the sea and her love to travel to see the world. She was a hard worker and was dedicated to her job. Outside work her priorities was spending time with her beloved family and close friends. She had an amazing personality that brightened the room with her beautiful smile.

Darlene is preceded in death by her grandfather, Ramiro Garcia Jr.; great grandmother, Santos Diaz and great grandmother, Tomasa Navarro.

Darlene is survived by her mother, Judy Garcia and her fiancé, Abel Rodriguez; her grandmother, Carmen Garcia; her brother, Sgt. Jose Vallejo III and his wife, Jeanette Vallejo and their daughter, Jada Vallejo; her brother, Frank Villareal; her sister, Alyssa Herdon; her step-father, Alfred Herdon; her biological father, Rosalio Solis and his wife, Dalia Solis; her brother, Steven Solis and his wife, Amanda Solis and her nephew, Steven Jaden Solis; her sister, Jennifer Alvarez and her husband, Angel Alvarez and her two nephews, Noah and Angel Alvarez. Her extended family includes the Vallejo and Villareal family. All her aunts and uncles; Ramiro and Mary, Rolando and Blanca, Anna and Ronnie, Tammy and Danny, Joy and Chris, Roel and Blanka.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 11, 2020 from 10:00 am until 11:30 am, with a Celebration of Life at 11:30 am, Lindale Assembly of God, 503 Reid Street Houston, Texas 77022 with Shannon Bowdoin officiating. Burial will follow at Conroe Memorial Park in Conroe, Texas. Arrangements have been entrusted to Claire Brothers Funeral Home, 7901 Hillcroft Street, Houston, Texas 77081.
