ROCHESTER HILLS - June 2, 1931 - August 17, 2025

Darrell Duffield passed away on August 17, 5 days after a fall. She was 94. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, Darrell attended Allegheny College and graduated from the University of Michigan 1953 with a B.S. in Dental Hygiene. She married George S. Anderson, DDS, MS and they made Lansing, Michigan their hometown.

Darrell was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority, Lansing Junior League, First Presbyterian Church-Lansing then Kirk in the Hills, and the Country Club of Lansing.

Darrell outlived her first husband George (died 1966) and her second husband, Arnold Duffield (died 1994). Darrell has two children: Mark (& Shaza) Anderson and Carolyn (& James) Wells. Her grandchildren William (& Olivia) Anderson, Stephanie Anderson, Matthew Wells and Douglas Wells are her pride and joy.

A family-only graveside service will be conducted in Lansing in the future. Contributions in memory of Darrell's long and full life may be made to the organization of your choosing.

Such a Blessing you were to everyone you touched. I knew you for a short time but you made a big imprint in my heart and left a wonderful legacy for your family and cherished friends.
