David Healey Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 20, 2025.
David Eugene Healey, born on January 28, 1960, in Jacksonville, Florida, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2025 at the age of 65.

David was the beloved son of Furbie Rosa Epps and William Raymond Healey. He is survived by his older brother, Robert Healey, daughter, Kristen Healey, son-in-law, Trevor Kane and granddaughter, Macie Mae Kane.

From a young age, David was known for his sharp mind, steady hands, and a deep curiosity for how things worked - qualities that would define much of his life.

David proudly served in the United States Air Force. After his military service, he dedicated his life to his true calling: building. David was a master craftsman, building homes from the ground up. His skill and attention to detail were unmatched, and many structures that stand strong today throughout Florida are a testament to his hard work and dedication. He truly was, "The Man", a nickname he gained and lived up to.

Outside of his work, David lived life fully and passionately. He found peace on the water while fishing, planting in the garden, animals, and supporting his football teams, the Raiders and Gators.

David leaves behind a legacy of craftsmanship, service, and love. He will be remembered not only for what he built with his hands, but for the lives he touched with his heart.
