I am very much saddened at hearing about David’s passing.
He and I worked together for three years in Bermuda during which time I became very fond of him.
Once I had gained Dave’s trust and respect, he was a terrific colleague. Commitment to his job and loyalty to his employer were matched by much hard work on his part. A highly intelligent and strong-willed man, David gave it his all. He delivered solutions and made ship-shape the environment he worked in.
I’m sorry that we lost contact once he left the island and my heart goes out to those who loved him.
I have often wondered in the last three years how he was doing. We often talked about Jazz music and his trumpet playing and I wish I had heard him play.
Please accept my deepest sympathy for David’s family this year.

Sincere condolences from the Thygesen family. We were saddened to hear of David's passing, too soon and far too young.
With sympathy,
