My wife and I were very saddened to hear of Dave's passing. He was a special friend whose encouragement of me as a young lawyer led to more than thirty years of friendship.

Starting with his childhood in Mckeesport, life in the Mon Valley provided everything he needed...from steel mill work to put him through law school... to people from every walk of life that needed help through his practice of law.

As a combination lawyer and entrepreneur whose imagination worked overtime, Dave was in continual motion. He was exciting to be around because for Dave even the impossible was more than possible.

But with all that going on, the touch stone of Dave's life was clearly Judy who came first in every way. I will never forget the strength of committed love Dave expressed for Judy through both the healthy times of life and the challenges that came to them with aging.

For me-- and I know for others-- Dave was one of the most engaging personalities I've known in life-- and someone we will remember and miss in our lives from now on.

My life was deeply influenced by my Uncle David, my mother and their parents. They we smart, beautiful, and most importantly, the most positive souls I ever knew. Uncle David never failed to encourage me to be the best I could be, and listened intently to all I needed to share with him. I can hear his gentle and loving voice as I write this message to him. Forever, Uncle David

VERY SAD TO LEARN OF DAVID'S PASSING. HE WAS ALWAYS APPRECIATED WHEN HE ENTERED MY COURTROOM. CONVERSATION WITH DAVID REMAINS SOME OF MY FONDEST MEMORIES OF A LONG COURT CAREER. IN THE LEGAL WORLD, DAVID WAS A GEM! BUT HIS FAMILY ALREADY KNOWS THIS. SOMEDAY, MY FRIEND.
