David Nathaniel McGee, 56, Hattiesburg MS, passed away in his home on April 13th 2025, from a sudden heart attack.

Preceded by his father Richmond Jasper McGee and his mother Jean Evelynn Castens

Survived by his children Cody Mack McGee, Nathan Tanner McGee, Kaleb Gage McGee, Madison Grace McGee, and Landon Chase McGee and his siblings: Regina LeJeune, Kip McGee, Alice McGee, Lucinda Rutledge, and Kelley McGee.

David McGee was known for being a hard worker, a loving father, a proud member of the LDS church, and the owner and founder of McGee Tree and Debris, which he operated for over 20 years. He was especially know for his service in the church and his local community. David volunteered time and resources from his business to aid in relief efforts for organizations dedicated to helping flood and tornado victims whenever he could and was know for his skills in operating his equipment. David was always willing to provide employment and a place to stay for those in need and believed that learning the value of hard work can really turn anyone's life around. He was also a loving father and a family man who helped raise and fiercely protected all of his 5 children his entire life. David McGee truly was a wonderful man and an amazing asset to the community and will be never be forgotten.

The service was held Saturday, April 19th at 2pm at the hattiesburg stake center 2502 Old Hwy 24, Hattiesburg, MS 39402 Visitation began at 1pm

So very heartbroken to hear of David´s passing. He was always such a nice person. I remember him always smiling , laughing, and making jokes! He will be missed very much. Praying for his children and his family.

I´m sending my deepest condolences to David´s family.
He was a great classmate, and he will be greatly missed. My prayers go up for his family. I´m very sorry I won´t be able to attend, but I have been praying for you all since I found out about David´s passing.
