David and I were college roommates at Austin College for two years. He was one of my dearest and closest friends from then on and we always remained very close and spent time together as much as we could. I loved his parents and siblings, they were always very special to me. I was at David's final ceremony and had a tough time getting thru it, hardly able to talk. I miss David all the time, he left far too soon. To his family, I love you always and someday we shall all be with David. God bless you all.

I HAVE JUST RECENTLY LEARNED OF DAVIDS PASSING AND I AM DEEPLY SADDENED. I HAD THE HONOR AND PLEASURE OF KNOWING DAVID VIA THE DALLAS MILITARY ENTRANCE PROCESSING STATION. WE WORKED TOGETHER CLOSELY ADMINISTERING PHYSICALS FOR THE MILITARY APPLICANTS. DAVID WAS NOT ONLY A GREAT DOCTOR, HE WAS A GREAT GUY AND LIKE A BROTHER TO ME. I WILL NEVER FORGET THE BRITISH COMEDY AND WIT WE SHARED TOGETHER. I LEARNED A LOT FROM DAVID AND HIS MANY YEARS OF SCHOLASTIC ACHIEVEMENT! I FELT VERY PROUD WHEN HE TOLD ME HE WISHED HE COULD HAVE STUDIED AT OXFORD AS I DID, PERHAPS THE GREATEST COMPLIMENT I HAVE EVER HAD AND COMING FROM A PERSON OF HIS CREDENTIALS, IT SPOKE VOLUMES MORE! I USE TO TEASE HIM NOW AND THEN, TELLING HIM...THERE IS 'NOSTRADAMUS', HOWEVER YOU ARE 'NOSTRADAVID'!!! 'NOSTRADAMUS' HASN'T GOT A CHANCE NEXT TO YOU! HE ALWAYS GOT A LARGE CHARGE OUT OF THAT.
THERE WAS ALWAYS OF COURSE THE HUMANITARIAN SIDE OF DAVID. HE HELPED ME WITH A MEDICAL ISSUE WHEN I NEEDED HIM MOST.
RIP DAVID
I LOVE YOU
JIM

I was shocked and dazed when I heard the news of Dr. Nachimson's passing from another medical worker. I was his Medical Assistant while he worked with Hamilton Medical Group in Lafayette, LA. I will never forget his love for the Dallas Cowboys; so much so that he had a spotlit pin for his exams and would shine the light on the ceiling to show them...he was very proud of that pin!
He and I shared a dry sense of humor and often quoted Monty Python to one another, we often drove our receptionist crazy, lol. He was a great doctor to work for and truly cared for his patients and for his employees. He had a great love and concern for his mother and children and often spoke well of them! He was very proud of his childrens' accomplishments!! (By the way Ms. Natchimson, thanks for the homemade flower pin cushion that he brought back to us girls for Christmas 2007! I still have it in my new office!) He was a very private man, but seemed to be a good hearted fellow who also loved his billiards! He will be missed and is well thought of! God Bless you and thank you!

Our condolences for the entire family. My husband was refered to Dr. Nachimson at the beganing of 2005 when he came to Lafayette, LA to practice rheumatology. Because of his knowledge and concern he saved my husbands live. During the 3 years he was here he was not only a great doctor he had become a great friend. We missed him dearly when he left and we will always remember him. Our prayers are with all of you.

David was one of my closest friends growing up on Weathered Street in Irving. My family lived directly across the street from the Nachimsons and I spent so many, many, many hours of my formative years in their love and laughter-filled home.

David was ultra-intelligent and humorous and so much fun to be around. We all swam in the Nachimson's pool, played "knuckle ball" on their pool table, laughed together, studied together...grew up together.

David Nachimson and Esther were kind enough to drive to Mckinney this past June to be a part of the my Dad's funeral. We so appreciated that. I'm so thankful I got to spend some time with David then. I had no idea he would soon be gone.

I'll miss you, David. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family and your many, many friends. You are part of who I am. You are an inextricable, joyous part of my history and my heart.
