David Sanders Obituary
He was born on January 10th, 1954, in Seneca, Ks, to Raymond Sanders and Virginia (Stuke) Sanders. Dave grew up in the heart of Nemaha County and graduated from Nemaha Valley High School in 1973. He went on to build a respected career as a skilled auto body repair technician. Known in his trade as a dedicated and meticulous body man, Dave took pride in restoring vehicles with precision and care.
Dave married Glenda Ramsey on April 2nd, 1977, in Seneca, Kansas. They owned and operated S&S Auto Body before moving to Southern California where they lived for two years. They returned to Kansas in 1987 making Topeka their forever home.
Dave had a lifelong passion for military aircraft and auto drag racing. Whether attending races or studying aircraft history, he found joy in the speed and engineering behind these machines. His interests reflected his appreciation for craftsmanship and performance, qualities that also defined his professional life.
Dave is survived by a son Kyle (Macee) and their three children, Rhett, Wren, and Meadow; his brother Daniel Sanders, (Mary); sister Sheryl Huerter, (Gerald); and sister Julie Boeding.
He was preceded in death by his wife Glenda who also succumb to Parkinson's disease on November 11, 2024, his sister Deborah Horton, and his parents.
Dave's final resting place will be at Rose Hill Cemetery, Valley Falls, Kansas. A celebration of life for both Dave and Glenda will take place in the future. The details of which are yet to be determined.
Memorials for Dave can be made to the "Veterans Wall of Honor" in Seneca and The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.

Dave was the one who inspired me to get into hotrods . I was in a study hall with Dave in high school. He was kind of like the Fonzy of the school. He was the definition of cool with his yellow 1939 chevy coupe that he built. He was a good guy.
