Growing up with Dawn, I knew her to be a gifted scholar, athlete and thespian, a true Renaissance young woman. Her natural beauty and sweet, serene demeanor concealed an inner strength, which Dawn displayed while recovering from a serious injury. Her success as an artist and professor would come as no surprise to Dawn's classmates who voted her most talented. Like the films that inspired some of her greatest work, Dawn Clements was a classic. Like the unique body of work she leaves behind, memories of precious time spent with Dawn will endure.

I was fortunate to take Dawn's drawing class in Princeton. As an architecture graduate student taking an elective I felt like I stuck out like a sore thumb. Dawn gave us all precise and full attention and critique. I believe that her way of seeing made such a strong impression on me without me realising, and I feel privledged to look back and see her effect on my seeing. As I look at her drawings now I realise that her modest, moving curiosity and search is integral to the way I look and process my work and even other things. What a life changing difference one small elective can make. Forever appreciative of such a gift. Rest in Peace Dawn

My condolences go out to Dawn's family in Chelmsford. I attended CHS with Dawn back in the 70's and she was an inspiring young lady with a positive outlook on life. Dawn is now at peace with her dad and enjoying everlasting life.
May you take solace in knowing that you now have a guardian angel above to watch over you and to keep you safe.
God Bless and may you rest in peace Dawn.
