Deborah A. Carney, 61, beloved wife, mother, sister and friend to many, died from injuries sustained in a vehicular accident on July 2, 2017. Debbie was a graduate of Brookline High School, Class of 1975, and married her high school sweetheart, Leo, on April 23, 1977. The two raised their children in Brockton before moving to Middleboro in 2005. Debbie was a hard worker who was currently the front of the house manager for food services at Brockton High School, where she has worked for over 25 years. Debbie was a beautiful person, kindhearted, very giving, and had the greatest sense of humor. She had the effortless ability to make everyone have a good time and was always concerned with meeting everyone else's needs. She loved shopping with her girls and teaching them the art of finding a good bargain. She also enjoyed trips to the casino, taking cruises with her family and friends, and most importantly supporting her children and grandchildren in their life endeavors. Debbie was the loving wife of Leo G. Carney Jr. of Middleboro; devoted mother of Tracey L. Pomerleau and her husband Peter of Middleboro, Keri A. Gallagher and her husband Chris of Middleboro, Leo G. Carney III and his wife Sheri of Middleboro and Kyle R. Carney of Middleboro; proud "Nana" of Kendal, Anthony, Paige, Aiden, Fallyn, Owen, Leo IV and Lily; daughter of the late Geraldine (Flaven) Randolph; and loving sister of Geraldine Randolph of Dedham, Nancy Randolph of Brookline, Jayne Rengifo of Fla., and the late Russell Randolph and Gail Mosquera. Funeral from the Prophett-Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St., Bridgewater, on Wednesday, July 12, at 9 a.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church, 340 Center St., Middleboro, at 10 a.m., followed by a burial at Cemetery on the Green. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Deborah Carney Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Sims & Sims LLP, 53 Arlington St., Brockton, MA 02301.
