Debbie was my Kindergarten teacher back when she was Ms. Felton :) I am in my early 50's with grown children of my own and I still remember her as one of my favorite teachers. She made us feel loved and important - she made learning fun and I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to be in her classroom. She always had a huge smile and a big hug for us :) She made such a difference to so many - lucky me!

Mrs. Blue may not have been my teacher, but she was a teacher to us all in some way. She always had a positive energy about her. That is something you simply cannot fake. There were many times when we would go back and forth between the two classrooms. We of course couldn't wait to all try out that bathtub for reading time! As a child, I only ever remember her smiling. I even went back to visit for a day, hoping to get some inspiration from her while I was in my first year of teaching at a public school. She was still just as wonderful as I had remembered her, and she was kind enough to share experiences and advice with me. Her memory will live on in her family and all of those lives she has touched.

I did not have Ms. Blue as a teacher but I remember her contagious smile. Always kind. She was a wonderful soul that will be missed. May her soul rest in heaven .

Debbie will always be in our hearts. As a long time member of Canterbury School, Debbie and I worked together on so many projects. She was always ready with a great idea, a word of encouragement, an extra pair of hands, and was willing to do what was best for the children. She helped to wrangle kiddos for many of our performances! Her spirit will continue to bloom through the lives she touched.

I didn´t have Mrs. Blue as a teacher for Kindergarten, but I spent a lot of time in her classroom before and after school. I fondly remember reading while lounging in her big blue bathtub. My mother, Laurie Obreza, was also a long-time teacher and coach at Canterbury - many of my mother´s colleagues looked after me over the years, including Mrs. Blue.

I attended Canterbury from 4-12 grade and my mother, Barbara Bacon, was a longtime faculty member. While I didn´t have Mrs. Blue as a teacher, I remember her fondly. She was a treasured member of the Canterbury community. I´m sending her family my sincere condolences.

I know she was loved by the Canterbury community, children, parents, and staff. She was a beautiful person in every way. I know she will be missed by her family, and all that she touched everywhere she went. I remember her with a smile on her face and kindness and love in her heart. Our family sends their condolences to hers. The Biddle Family May God stay close and keep you strong through this difficult journey. He will love you through this.

Mrs. Blue was my kindergarten teacher and I remember her big blue bathtub and always feeling loved by her in her classroom. I'm 35 now with my own children and will forever cherish the memories she made.
