Delaine Fortson Obituary
She retired from the Stanislaus Medical Society, where she worked for many years, and found her greatest joy in spending time with her family. Her laughter, love, and quiet strength touched everyone who knew her, and her presence brought comfort and love to those around her.
She is survived by her devoted husband of over 50 years, Gregory Kenneth of Modesto; her daughters, Sally Rose Ellis (Brian) of Aliso Viejo and Sara Rose Jessamine (Adam) of Los Angeles; and her cherished granddaughter, Emerson Ellis. She is also survived by a loving extended family that includes several siblings, cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was deeply loved and will be missed immeasurably by her family and friends.
Her legacy is one of love and unwavering devotion to the people she held dearest.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you hold your loved ones close, as she always did.
